If this knife cost more it might not get a 5star rating, but I like it. It's a bit rough, but that's easily fixed, and once it's sharpened well it's great. Generally, knives that I've carried have had blades under 3" so this is big for me. But the extra 1/2" or so, and the flat ground spear point make it a great food prep knife in the field. And in this day of "tactical" knives with all sorts of assisted opening contrivances, there's something nice about having to stick your thumbnail in to get the blade out. It's a work knife. Oh, and top marks to Blades Canada for quick service!
