Just received the knife brand new and the locking mechanism on the knife was so stiff the knife would not close. I called Blades Canada Warriors & Wonders and they helped a knife newbie. If you get this knife you need to use a flathead screwdriver to loosen it up. It works fine now but it was screwed in so tight I almost returned the knife.

Also, I have bought a few knives from you guys before and never had any issues, including the packaging. My knife the CRKT box was badly ripped. It was poorly pakaged. The scotch tape had come loose and the CRKT box was already open when I opened the brown cardboard shipping box. Accidents happen, never happened before but I was a but upset and obviously quality control wasn't done as usual because I tried closing the knife over 50 times and I just feel like if the knifes are opened to check for quality control why this wasn't checked.

Overall this knife seems pretty good, it's a tad heavy, and if you get a tightly screwed knife like mine just adjust the screws or I've read elsewhere for this knife to invest in Phosphorous Bronze Washers. The clip isn't the greatest either so it's a decent knife but some minor mods are suggested.
