I was looking to buy a Fox Knives Core but then i saw how thick it was and while browsing my attention turned to The Kyre. It sort of has some Vox aesthetics so it made an impression on me. Boy was i glad i decided to pick this up. Its my first Kizer knife but so far i am impressed. Real nice smooth action if you flick it open or use the finger hole. Its got quite a nice length blade for its weight and i like the flat grind straight edge. Locking Detente is good but not great, my only reason for not giving a 5 star. Even then it is only a small gripe as the blade only pops out on its own if you swing it like you mean to slam it hard at the ground. The G10 Machined handles which had me worried would be too rough was actually plesantly smooth and the grip mostly comes from the smooth ridges. Blade came expertly sharpened, running my finger across it felt like touching a new shaving razor. The Pocket clip works well it is rather resistant to bending and the G10 of course grips the pocket a bit when stowing away or deploying. All in all i am a satisfied new Kizer Kyre owner.
