From the Woodboy folding joinery series this 26 teeth per 30mm Kataba style saw boasts ultimate quality with many fine features. A taper ground SK-4 high carbon steel blade with non set and impulse hardened teeth are just the beginning to a long list of impressive attributes. A 9 1/2 inch or 240mm blade folds away nicely into a rubberized and ergonomic handle for protection while not in use. Impulse hardened teeth are up to three times harder than many Western saws and are painstakingly and slowly ground by large diamond wheels using a water cooled process. SILKY designed this saw for interior carpenters needing a tougher Japanese saw capable of visiting the jobsite. With an Ultra thin kerf and same two thumb release positions as the dozuki saw this woodboy is a real Super addition to the Joiner's tool package. All blades from the Woodboy joinery series are interchangeable and sold separately. Made in Japan.
