The knife is exceptionally well built, the blade is and stays sharp, perhaps sharper than some would like. The frame is well made, sturdy with a functional handle that grips well.

There is just one problem, the blade spur is unusable. I am at a loss as to why United would make a spur that is so small and smooth that it's, for all practical purposes, useless. The spur should first be big enough to get a reasonable sized finger firmly on it. Next the top of the spur should be ridged rather than slick and smooth.

I love the knife, just wish I could get it open!!
